Must have 5 years experience as a Procurement Specialist.  Must have an understanding of and a keen interest in the construction industry is essential.

Job Description:

Zeus Associates Recruiting and Staffing is seeking for a Procurement Specialist to support the Program Management Services team for a prestigious firm that has been around for a long time.  

Must have 5 years experience as a Procurement Specialist.  Must have an understanding of and a keen interest in the construction industry is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists with drafting and assembling Design-Build procurement packages, including RFQs and RFPs
• Attend program and project calls and meetings
• Maintains excellent communication with all stakeholders
• Assists with review, evaluation and recommendation of selection of submissions

Preferred Skills:

Job Requirements

• Relevant work experience in Design-Build projects
• Program or Construction management experience
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to multi-task, handling numerous concurrent requests
• Ability to work professionally as a team player in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
• Excellent communciations 
• 5 years of relevant work experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Business Management required
• Master’s level degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture Preferred

Preferred Skills

• Relevant work experience in management of a large-scale program
• Familiar with policies and procedures for construction contract administration
