Job Description:

Zeus Associates Recruiting and Staffing is recruiting for a Technical Writer to support the Program Management Services for a prestigious firm that has been around for a long time.  An understanding of and a keen interest in the construction industry is essential.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit reports, Program Management Plans, Project Managements Plans, Monthly Reports and other documents
  • Research, develop and document technical design specifications
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
  • Attend program and project calls and meetings

Job Requirements

  • Understanding of and a keen interest in the construction industry is essential
  • Program or Construction management experience
  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5 Plus years of relevant experience

 

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant work experience in a large-scale program
  • Familiar with policies and procedures for construction contract administration

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management is a plus
