Job Description:

Zeus Associates Recruiting and Staffing is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) ) to work at a prestigious hospital on Suffolk County, Long Island.

These are 13 Weeks Assignments and can potentially be renewed for another 13 weeks.

Travel Experience is a plus but not required.

Shifts:

• EVE   - 12 hour shift from 3pm -3:30am  
• Night - 12 hour shift from 7pm-7:30am  
• DAY   - 12 hour shift from 11am-11:30pm 

The RN - ED must be able to perform the majority of patient care skills, good nursing assessment in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.

2 yr. minimum recent RN - ED experience.

Job Rate - Depends on Experience (DOE)

Preferred Skills:

Job Requirements: 

• Training in Critical Care and Telemetry.
• Preferred experience in a tertiary or academic medical center
• Minimum of 2 years RN ED experience in an acute care facility of similar size and level as a hospital
• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record preferred
• Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated
• Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
• Must have verification of legal right to work in U.S
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
• All candidates are subject to drug screening
• All candidates are subject criminal background check
• Must provide evidence of basic arrhythmia telemetry interpretation course certificate
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

• Education:

Bachelors Degree

Certifications:

• ACLS
• BL
• PALS
• Telemetry

License:

Current New York state Registered Nurse license

Preferred: TNCC certification
